Rare & Beautiful Solid Brass Victorian Prismed Edward Miller Cast Brass-Frame Library Lamp manufactured by The Edward Miller Brass & Lamp Co. Circa 1880 - 1890's. All frame components are of Solid Brass; the shade ring, the prism band, and the retractor canopy shell. Beautiful & Stunning Prismed Library Lamp features an early & very-rare high-dome Swirled Amberina Bullseye Patterned Art-Glass 14-inch diameter shade. Still in original oil, this beautiful jeweled frame with original twisty hangers instead of chains, still sports it's original old hand cut crystal prisms with it's original Font & Burner Assembly. (Chimney is a modern replica-replacement) Glass and Metal are in excellent condition.
Lamp is restored to its original pristine appearance. Font is the original, correct, oil font and it has been burnished, buffed and sealed to its original high luster finish.
