"Swingers" were produced in Europe, mostly in Germany, for the Cottage Industry. They are made of Porcelain and hand-painted. Swingers are usually portrayed as one or two children on a swing and commonly referred to as "Dutch Children". They hang from the bottom of a hanging lamp both as a decorative accessory and as a pull to lower the hanging lamp.
